Quartz F.A.Q.

Routine Care
Quartz Surface, also known as Engineered Stone, can be cleaned with damp cloth or a mild soap. It does not require any special cleaners.  Unlike some natural stones, Quartz Surface is nonporous and never needs sealing.

Stains or Dried Spills
Any multi-purpose cleaner or detergent can be used on stains. For dried spills, use a green scouring pad.

Heat Resistance
Hot pots and pans should not be placed directly on Quartz Surfaces. Although the brand is touted as heat resistant, it can burn if exposed to very hot items.

Chemical Reactions
Quartz Surfaces can be permanently damaged by exposure to strong chemicals and solvents which undermine its physical properties. Do not use any products that contain trichlorethane or methylene chloride, such as paint removers or strippers. Avoid any highly aggressive cleaning agents like oven/grill cleaner that have high alkaline/pH levels. Should any of these chemicals come in contact with Quartz or Engineered Stone, rinse immediately with water to neutralize the effect.
